Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Angela Dawkins PMHNP, FNP-BC. Ms. Dawkins is a native of Dothan, AL. In 1991, she started working at Flowers hospital in cardiac nursing. Ms. Dawkins has over 24 years of nursing experience and has worked in a variety of settings including cardiac, acute/clinical dialysis, intensive care, home health, med surgical nursing , geriatric nursing, outpatient surgery, emergency medicine, pain clinic, inpatient/outpatient psychiatric nursing, rural healthcare, quality management, Associate Degree Nursing instructor, Clinical instructor, and Bachelor of Science of Nursing Online instructor.

 

She is a member of American Nurses Association (ANA), Alabama State Nurses Association (ASNA) and American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) and she is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in the states of Alabama and Florida.

 

Ms. Dawkins completed her Licensed Practical Nursing and Associate Degree of Nursing at Wallace Community College (Dothan, AL); Bachelor of Science in Nursing at University of South Alabama (Mobile, AL); Master of Science Degree in Nursing Education at South University (Savannah, GA); Post MSN Degree Graduate Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner at University of Massachusetts Boston (Boston, MA); Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at University of Cincinnati (Cincinnati, OH).

 

Ms. Dawkins, is the daughter of Mollie Price Snell and the Late Robert Price. She is the proud mother of three children the late Cedric Dawkins, Jr.; Brieana Dawkins and Alexis Dawkins. She actively volunteers in Alabama & Florida community service projects. She’s a member of Greater Beulah Baptist Church. 

Chelsia Burkes-Brown, PMHNP-BC.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

Chelsia Burkes-Brown is a Boardcertified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She has over 9 yearsof nursing experience in a variety of settings: Geriatrics, Home Health,Corrections and Psychiatric Nursing(inpatient).

 

Mrs. Brown's educational training has included Licensed Practical Nursing from Tom P. Haney Technical Center in Panama City, FL; Associate Degree in Nursing (RN) from Wallace Community College in Dothan, AL; Bachelor of Sciencein Nursing from University of West Florida in Pensacola,FL; Master of Science from Walden University in Minneapolis,MN

Mrs. Brown is a member of the American Nurses Association (ANA), American Psychiatric Nurses Association (APNA) Florida and national chapters, and is a licensed Nurse Practitioner in Alabama and Florida.

Mrs. Brown a native of Blountstown, FL and is married with 3 children. She actively volunteers with community projects in her hometown.
